Cookies Policy
This policy explains how the TrueFit screening page uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. We deliberately keep these to a minimum.
Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. “Similar technologies” includes browser local storage, which works in much the same way. They let a site remember things between pages — for example, where you are in a process.
- Strictly necessary — remembering your progress: we store a small key on your device (in your browser's local storage) so the assessment can recognise your session and you don't lose your place.
- Strictly necessary — security: we use a token to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
- Sign-in (staff only): the separate administrator area uses a sign-in cookie for Sanctuary and platform staff. Candidates are not signed in.
The candidate screening journey does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Strictly necessary cookies and storage don't require consent under UK rules (PECR); if we ever add anything optional, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
[Confirm.] The candidate screening journey currently uses no analytics or marketing cookies. If analytics are added in future, they will be named here and will only run with your consent.
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary storage may stop the assessment from working properly. Browser help pages explain how:
- Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Opera each provide cookie and site-data controls in their settings or privacy sections.
